CELBION (NEW) is a balanced pediatric and adult suspension formulated to optimize bone density, support neurological development, and prevent nutritional deficiencies. It delivers highly bioavailable calcium alongside essential co-factors required for systemic absorption and metabolic utilization.
Indications
This formulation is indicated for:
- Calcium Deficiency States: Prevention and treatment of hypocalcemia, osteomalacia, and latent tetany.
- Pediatric Development: Supporting skeletal growth, tooth formation, and bone mineralization during active childhood growth phases.
- Geriatric Care: Adjunctive management of age-related bone mineral loss and osteoporosis.
- Nutritional Deficiencies: Prophylaxis against Vitamin D3 and Vitamin B12 deficiency in vulnerable patient populations.
Dosage & Administration
Shake well before use. The standard recommended adult dosage is 5 mL to 10 mL taken twice daily after meals, or as directed by a healthcare professional. For pediatric use, dosage should be strictly determined by a physician based on age and body weight.
Adverse Effects
Generally well-tolerated when administered within recommended limits. Rare adverse effects include gastrointestinal discomfort, mild constipation, flatulence, and nausea. Excessive intake may lead to hypercalcemia or hypercalciuria.

Contraindications
Do not use in patients with confirmed hypercalcemia, hypercalciuria, severe renal impairment, nephrolithiasis (kidney stones), hypervitaminosis D, or known hypersensitivity to any ingredient in the formulation.
Warnings & Precautions
Use with caution in patients with a history of kidney stones or cardiac diseases. Regular monitoring of serum calcium and phosphorus levels is recommended during long-term therapy. Ensure adequate hydration to minimize the risk of renal calculi.
Drug Interactions
Concomitant administration may reduce the gastrointestinal absorption of tetracycline and fluoroquinolone antibiotics; maintain a minimum dosing interval of 2 hours. Thiazide diuretics may increase the risk of hypercalcemia due to decreased renal excretion of calcium.

Store below 30°C in a cool, dry place. Protect from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep the container tightly closed and out of reach of children.
