Product Overview
CIAN SALT (ORS) is a scientifically balanced Oral Rehydration Salts formulation designed according to WHO guidelines to counteract dehydration. It rapidly replenishes lost water and essential electrolytes caused by diarrhea, vomiting, or excessive sweating.
Indications
This product is indicated for:
- Acute Diarrhea and Gastroenteritis: Prevents and treats fluid and electrolyte depletion in adults and children.
- Vomiting-Induced Dehydration: Restores standard physiological hydration levels.
- Heat Exhaustion: Rehydrates individuals experiencing heavy electrolyte loss due to high ambient temperatures or strenuous physical exertion.
Dosage & Administration
Dissolve the complete contents of one 20.5g pack thoroughly in 1 liter of clean drinking water. Administer orally based on the age and degree of dehydration, or as advised by a medical professional. Consume the solution within 24 hours of preparation.
Adverse Effects
Extremely safe when mixed in the correct volume of water. Incorrect over-concentration may result in hypernatremia, leading to puffiness or increased thirst.

Contraindications
Contraindicated in patients suffering from intestinal obstruction, persistent severe vomiting preventing oral intake, severe dehydration requiring intravenous fluid therapy, or renal failure.

Ensure exact dilution instructions are followed. Do not boil the solution after preparation. Use only clean, potable water for mixing.
Drug Interactions
Generally safe with no major systemic drug interactions. Use with caution in patients receiving potassium-sparing diuretics due to the potassium content.
