Product Overview
PANCIAN CAPSULE is a high-potency pancreatic enzyme replacement therapy designed to restore digestive capacity in patients with compromised pancreatic secretion. Formulated as enteric-coated pellets within a hard gelatin capsule, it ensures target-specific release of essential enzymes in the duodenum.
Indications
This enzyme supplement is indicated for:
- Pancreatic Exocrine Insufficiency associated with chronic pancreatitis, cystic fibrosis, or pancreatic surgery.
- Malabsorption syndrome caused by post-cholecystectomy complications or structural gastrointestinal bypasses.
- Steatorrhea management and symptomatic relief from severe digestive bloating.
Dosage & Administration
Dosage should be individualized based on the severity of exocrine insufficiency and dietary fat intake. Capsules should be taken during or immediately following primary meals and snacks. Swallow whole with sufficient water.
Adverse Effects
High doses may occasionally cause mild abdominal discomfort, bloating, perianal irritation, or transient nausea.

Contraindications
Contraindicated in patients with acute pancreatitis or acute exacerbations of chronic pancreatic disease, and in individuals with known hypersensitivity to porcine derivatives.
Warnings & Precautions
Maintain optimal systemic hydration at all times during high-dose enzyme therapy. Exceptional care should be taken to avoid chewing or holding the pellets in the mouth, as contact can cause mucosal irritation.
Drug Interactions
Concomitant administration of iron supplements may cause a slight decrease in iron absorption. Antacids containing calcium or magnesium may reduce the clinical efficacy of pancreatin.
Storage Instructions
Store below 25°C in a tightly sealed container. Keep in a dry location completely protected from ambient moisture.
