Product Overview
AMLOCI AT TAB is a synergistic cardiovascular combination tablet designed for the comprehensive management of hypertension and angina pectoris. By uniting a calcium channel blocker with a beta-blocker, it effectively lowers high blood pressure, minimizes cardiac workload, and protects against myocardial complications.
Indications
AMLOCI AT TAB is indicated for:
- Essential Hypertension: Controls elevated blood pressure when monotherapy is insufficient.
- Chronic Stable Angina: Prophylactic treatment to decrease the frequency and severity of ischemic chest pain attacks.
Dosage & Administration
The usual adult dosage is one tablet taken orally once daily, ideally at the same time every morning, or as prescribed by a physician. It can be taken with or without food.
Adverse Effects
Common adverse effects include:
- Peripheral edema (swelling of ankles)
- Bradycardia (slow heart rate)
- Dizziness, fatigue, and headache

Contraindications
Contraindicated in severe bradycardia, cardiogenic shock, second or third-degree heart block, uncontrolled heart failure, sick sinus syndrome, severe peripheral vascular disease, and hypersensitivity to either component.
Warnings & Precautions
Do not discontinue treatment abruptly, as sudden withdrawal of beta-blockers can cause rebound hypertension or worsen angina. Use with extreme caution in patients with asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), diabetes, or impaired renal function.
Drug Interactions
Concomitant use with other antihypertensives, diuretics, or nitrates potentiates hypotensive effects. Concurrent use with digitalis glycosides or verapamil may worsen bradycardia and conduction blocks. NSAIDs may diminish the blood pressure-lowering effect.
