DOXYMINE PLUS is a specialized pharmaceutical formulation developed to safely manage severe nausea and vomiting during pregnancy, widely known as morning sickness. By combining an antihistamine with vital metabolic vitamins, it ensures comprehensive maternal comfort and supports early fetal neural development.
Indications
This product is indicated for:
- Pregnancy-Induced Nausea and Vomiting: Alleviates morning sickness that fails to respond to initial dietary and lifestyle changes.
- Hyperemesis Gravidarum: Provides baseline metabolic and antiemetic stability in severe gestational vomiting.
- Prophylaxis of Fetal Neural Tube Defects: Supports mandatory maternal folate optimization during the critical first trimester.
Dosage & Administration
The standard regimen is one or two tablets taken orally at bedtime on an empty stomach to ensure maximum antiemetic coverage the following morning. If afternoon symptoms persist, an additional tablet may be taken in the morning as directed by the physician.

Contraindications
Do not administer to individuals with a known hypersensitivity to doxylamine, other ethanolamine derivative antihistamines, pyridoxine, or folic acid. It is contraindicated in patients concurrently taking monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs).
Warnings & Precautions
Due to potential somnolence, patients should avoid driving or operating heavy machinery until their tolerance is established. Use with caution in patients with narrow-angle glaucoma, stenosing peptic ulcers, urinary retention, or bronchial asthma.
Drug Interactions
Monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) prolong and intensify the central anticholinergic effects of doxylamine. Concomitant administration with central nervous system depressants, alcohol, or sedatives can result in severe additive drowsiness and respiratory depression.
Storage Instructions
Store below 25°C in a dry place. Protect the tablets from direct light exposure and excessive ambient heat.
