Product Overview

LINSEED GEL is a fast-acting topical analgesic formulation designed to provide rapid relief from musculoskeletal pain, joint discomfort, and strain-induced inflammation. It targets the affected site directly to alleviate pain associated with arthritis, backaches, and sports injuries.

Indications

This topical gel is indicated for the temporary relief of pain and inflammation associated with:

  • Osteoarthritis and Rheumatoid Arthritis: Eases chronic joint stiffness, localized pain, and minor swelling.
  • Sports Injuries: Rapidly manages acute pain arising from muscle sprains, strains, and contusions.
  • Musculoskeletal Conditions: Alleviates low backache, neck pain, fibrositis, lumbago, and sciatica.

Dosage & Administration

For external use only. Gently massage a small amount of gel (approximately 2 grams to 4 grams, depending on the size of the affected area) onto the intact skin 3 to 4 times daily. Wash hands thoroughly after application unless the hands are the treated zone.

Adverse Effects

Common side effects are localized to the site of application and include:

  • Mild skin irritation or erythema
  • Localized burning, itching, or tingling sensation
  • Dryness or peeling of the skin

Contraindications

Do not use in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to diclofenac, aspirin, or other NSAIDs (including cases where aspirin precipitates asthma, rhinitis, or urticaria). Do not apply to open wounds, broken skin, or infected dermatoses.

Warnings & Precautions

Avoid contact with eyes, nose, mouth, and mucous membranes. Do not apply occlusive dressings or tight bandages over the gel. Avoid taking a hot bath or shower immediately before or after application to minimize excessive burning sensations. Discontinue use if a systemic skin rash develops.

Drug Interactions

Systemic absorption is minimal, making drug interactions rare. However, concurrent extensive topical use of salicylates may mildly potentiate the effects of oral anticoagulants such as warfarin. Avoid using other topical NSAIDs concurrently on the same site.

Storage Instructions

Store below 30°C in a dry place. Protect from direct sunlight. Do not freeze. Keep the tube tightly closed after every use.
