Indications
This tablet strength is primarily indicated for:

Dosage & Administration
The usual maintenance dose is one tablet (20 mg) once daily, taken with or without food. Dosage adjustments should be made based on blood pressure monitoring results after at least two weeks of continuous therapy.

Contraindications
Absolutely contraindicated in pregnant women, as it can cause fetal harm. Avoid use in patients with known hypersensitivity to angiotensin receptor blockers or with severe biliary cirrhosis.
Warnings & Precautions
Dual blockade of the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system (RAAS) with aliskiren or ACE inhibitors is not recommended. Renal artery stenosis patients carry a higher risk of severe hypotension and renal insufficiency during treatment.
Drug Interactions
May increase serum lithium concentrations and toxicity when used together. Lithium levels should be monitored closely if the combination is necessary. Antihypertensive actions may be dampened by systemic corticosteroids.
