Indications

Contraindications
Do not administer to patients with known hypersensitivity to cyproheptadine or tricholine citrate. Contraindicated in individuals experiencing angle-closure glaucoma, stenosing peptic ulcers, prostatic hypertrophy, bladder neck obstructions, or concurrently undergoing Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitor (MAOI) therapy. Avoid use in newborns or premature infants.
Warnings & Precautions
Use with meticulous caution in individuals diagnosed with cardiovascular diseases, severe hepatic or renal impairment, bronchial asthma, or hyperthyroidism. Inform patients that this product may impair the mental alert state required for operating heavy machinery or driving motor vehicles.
Drug Interactions
Concomitant administration with Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitors (MAOIs) can prolong and intensify the anticholinergic effects of cyproheptadine. Central Nervous System (CNS) depressants, including alcohol, sedatives, and tranquilizers, may amplify somnolence and should be strictly avoided.
