Indications
This therapeutic sachet is indicated for:
- Acute Diarrhea: Fast management of sudden watery stools in pediatric and adult patients.
- Antibiotic-Associated Diarrhea (AAD): Countering gut microbiome disruptions caused by broad-spectrum antibiotic therapies.

Dosage & Administration
The contents of the sachet should be dissolved thoroughly in a glass of potable water or mixed with infant feed. The standard dosage depends on body weight and clinical severity, typically administered three times daily before meals, not exceeding a continuous seven-day period.

Contraindications

Warnings & Precautions
This formulation does not replace the critical need for oral rehydration therapy; always administer alongside adequate fluids and electrolytes. Use with caution in individuals with compromised immune systems or central venous catheters, as there is a small risk of systemic fungemia from probiotic yeast strains.
Drug Interactions
No major adverse drug-to-drug interactions have been identified for racecadotril or these probiotic strains. They can be safely co-administered with standard antibiotics, though spacing the probiotic dose by two hours is recommended.
