GUM PLUS GUM PAINT [NEW] is a comprehensive, multi-action topical antiseptic and astringent liquid engineered for the management of painful inflammatory periodontal conditions. It targets pathogenic oral microbes while instantly soothing irritated oral tissues and strengthening loose, bleeding gums.
Indications
This topical dental liquid is indicated for:
- Gingivitis and Periodontitis: Resolves bleeding, painful, and inflamed gingival margins.
- Aphthous Ulcers: Soothes painful canker sores and accelerates epithelial healing.
- Stomatitis: Controls generalized inflammation of the delicate oral mucous membranes.
- Pyorrhea: Controls foul breath and chronic gingival discharge when used as an adjunct to mechanical scaling.
Dosage & Administration
Apply a few drops of the liquid directly onto the affected gums using a clean fingertip or a sterile cotton swab. Gently massage the painted area for 2 to 3 minutes. Spit out any excess fluid; do not swallow. Avoid rinsing the mouth, drinking fluids, or eating food for at least 15 to 20 minutes post-application.
Adverse Effects
Potential localized reactions include:
- A transient stinging or burning sensation upon application
- Temporary staining of the teeth or oral mucosa
- Local mucosal irritation in individuals sensitive to volatile oils

Contraindications
Contraindicated in individuals with known hypersensitivity to elemental iodine, iodides, or any of the aromatic components like camphor or thymol. It should not be used in children under 6 years of age unless recommended by a dentist.
Warnings & Precautions
This formulation is strictly limited to topical intra-oral application and must never be swallowed. If signs of a systemic allergic reaction or worsening mucosal swelling develop, discontinue use immediately and seek professional dental advice.
Drug Interactions
No significant drug interactions occur with topical application. Avoid concurrent application of other topical oral gels or rinses at the exact same time to prevent dilution of the active ingredients.
