Product Overview
MD-PLUS TAB (FC) is a powerful, synergistic combination of an antispasmodic and a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It provides fast and sustained relief from severe abdominal cramps, spasms, and acute pain.
Indications
This medication is primarily indicated for:
- Spasmodic Dysmenorrhea: Alleviation of severe menstrual pain and uterine cramps.
- Abdominal Colic: Fast relief from gastrointestinal, renal, or biliary colic pain.
Dosage & Administration
The standard adult dosage is one tablet taken orally two to three times daily. The tablet should preferably be taken after a meal to reduce the risk of gastrointestinal irritation.

Contraindications
Contraindicated in individuals with active peptic ulcers, gastrointestinal bleeding, severe hepatic, renal, or cardiac failure, or known hypersensitivity to NSAIDs.
Warnings & Precautions
Long-term use requires monitoring of hepatic and renal parameters. Use with caution in elderly patients and those with a history of cardiovascular events or asthma.
Drug Interactions
Drotaverine may diminish the therapeutic effect of levodopa. Mefenamic Acid may interact with oral anticoagulants, increasing bleeding risk, and may reduce the efficacy of antihypertensive medications.
