Product Overview
O CIAN SYRUP [NEW] is a premium pediatric antiemetic formulation designed to manage nausea and vomiting with precision. Its palatable formulation ensures easy administration and swift gastric tolerance in children.
Indications
This syrup is indicated for:
- Pediatric Emesis: Prevention and treatment of nausea and vomiting induced by acute gastroenteritis or viral infections.
- Postoperative Nausea: Management of vomiting secondary to pediatric surgical interventions.
Dosage & Administration
Dosage is strictly calculated based on the pediatric patient's age and body weight. Administer 15 to 30 minutes before food or as directed by the physician.

- Mild constipation or transient diarrhea

Contraindications
Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to ondansetron or other selective 5-HT3 antagonists. Concomitant use with apomorphine is strictly contraindicated.
Warnings & Precautions
Use caution in patients with signs of congenital long QT syndrome or electrolyte imbalances, as ondansetron can prolong the QT interval on an ECG.
Drug Interactions
Concomitant administration with potent CYP3A4 inducers like rifampicin may decrease systemic levels of ondansetron. Avoid co-administration with serotonergic drugs to prevent serotonin syndrome.
