Product Overview
O CIAN TAB is an advanced orally disintegrating antiemetic tablet designed to dissolve quickly on the tongue without the need for water. This unique delivery mechanism ensures swift systemic absorption and rapid relief from acute emetic symptoms.
Indications
This tablet is indicated for:
- Chemotherapy-Induced Nausea: Prophylaxis of nausea and vomiting associated with emetogenic cancer chemotherapy.
- Radiotherapy-Induced Emesis: Prevention of vomiting in patients undergoing radiation treatment.
- Postoperative Recovery: Management of post-anesthesia nausea and vomiting.
Dosage & Administration
Adults: 1 or 2 tablets daily depending on clinical severity. Allow the tablet to dissolve completely on the tongue before swallowing. Water is not mandatory.

Contraindications
Do not administer to individuals hypersensitive to ondansetron. Co-administration with apomorphine hydrochloride is strictly prohibited due to reports of profound hypotension.
Warnings & Precautions
Ondansetron may cause dose-dependent QT interval prolongation; monitor patients presenting with underlying cardiac abnormalities or bradyarrhythmias.
Drug Interactions
Concomitant administration with drugs that alter hepatic enzymes, such as phenytoin, carbamazepine, or rifampicin, can accelerate ondansetron clearance and reduce its therapeutic outcome.
