Product Overview
ANTACIAN GEL is an advanced antacid and antiflatulent suspension formulated to provide rapid, long-lasting relief from hyperacidity, heartburn, and gas. Combining balanced aluminum and magnesium hydroxides with simethicone in a sugar-free sorbitol base, it neutralizes excess stomach acid while eliminating trapped gas bubbles. This gentle, soothing gel coats the gastric mucosa to protect against acid irritation and ulceration.
Indications
This suspension is indicated for the rapid relief of:
- Peptic Ulcer Disease: Symptomatic relief of pain and discomfort in gastric and duodenal ulcers.
- Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD): Managing acid reflux, heartburn, and esophagitis.
- Hyperacidity and Dyspepsia: Treating acid indigestion, sour stomach, and epigastric distress.
- Flatulence and Abdominal Distension: Relieving painful gas trapping, bloating, and postprandial fullness.
Dosage & Administration
Adults and children over 12 years: Take 10 to 15 ml (2 to 3 teaspoonfuls) 4 times daily, preferably 1 to 2 hours after meals and at bedtime, or as directed by a physician. Shake the bottle well before each use.

Contraindications
Contraindicated in patients with severe renal failure, hypophosphatemia, intestinal obstruction, or appendicitis. Do not administer to individuals with known hypersensitivity to aluminum, magnesium, or simethicone.
Warnings & Precautions
Use with extreme caution in patients with chronic kidney disease, as magnesium and aluminum can accumulate to toxic levels. Avoid prolonged unsupervised usage beyond two weeks. The sorbitol base may cause mild laxative effects in sensitive individuals.
Drug Interactions
Antacids can impair the gastrointestinal absorption of concurrently administered oral drugs, including tetracyclines, fluoroquinolones, iron salts, isoniazid, ketoconazole, and levothyroxine. A time interval of at least 2 hours should be maintained between taking ANTACIAN GEL and other oral medications.
