Product Overview
RABTAB D is a powerful, synergistic gastro-regulatory tablet developed to handle severe hyperacidity co-existing with delayed gastric emptying. It resolves acid reflux symptoms rapidly while preventing upward gastrointestinal distress.
Indications
- Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD): Relieves intractable heartburn, chest discomfort, and bitter regurgitation.
- Non-Ulcer Dyspepsia: Manages chronic bloating, epigastric fullness, and persistent postprandial nausea.
- Peptic Ulcers: Accelerates the healing of gastric and duodenal lesions by maintaining a controlled baseline pH.
Dosage & Administration
The standard adult dose is one tablet daily, taken orally on an empty stomach 30 minutes before breakfast. The enteric coated tablet must be swallowed whole without manipulation.
Adverse Effects
Common occurrences include mild dry mouth, flatulence, transient headache, dizziness, abdominal discomfort, and occasional loose stools.

Contraindications
Contraindicated in patients with prolactin-releasing pituitary tumors, mechanical gastrointestinal obstruction, gastrointestinal perforation, active internal bleeding, or known hypersensitivity to either drug.
Warnings & Precautions
Not recommended for long-term use in patients with pre-existing cardiac arrhythmias or prolonged QT intervals. Extended PPI use requires close monitoring of systemic magnesium and Vitamin B12 levels.
Drug Interactions
Rabeprazole lowers the systemic absorption of ketoconazole, itraconazole, and iron salts. Domperidone concentration is heightened by strong CYP3A4 inhibitors like erythromycin, clarithromycin, and ketoconazole.

Store below 25°C in a dry place. Protect the tablets from direct ambient heat and moisture accumulation.
