Product Overview
PANCI INJ is a sterile lyophilized powder for intravenous administration, delivering immediate acid suppression when oral therapy is unfeasible. It is an essential critical-care gastrointestinal formulation for severe erosive conditions and acute GI bleeding.
Indications
- Short-term treatment of severe GERD with a history of erosive esophagitis.
- Management of active pathological hypersecretory conditions like Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome.
- Prevention and management of acute upper gastrointestinal bleeding from peptic ulcers.
- Prophylaxis of acid aspiration syndrome during surgical procedures.
Dosage & Administration
For intravenous infusion only. Reconstitute the 40 mg vial with 10 ml of 0.9% Sodium Chloride Injection, and further dilute with 100 ml of 5% Dextrose or 0.9% NaCl. Infuse over a period of 15 minutes as directed by a healthcare professional.

Contraindications
Contraindicated in patients with confirmed hypersensitivity to pantoprazole or other proton pump inhibitors. Must not be co-administered with rilpivirine.
Warnings & Precautions
Intravenous therapy should be switched to oral administration as soon as the patient is able to swallow. Monitor for systemic hypersensitivity reactions. High doses over extended periods require monitoring of electrolyte and fluid balances.
Drug Interactions
May reduce the systemic absorption of anti-HIV medications like atazanavir. Concomitant use with high-dose methotrexate may elevate and prolong methotrexate serum concentrations.
Storage Instructions
Store the un-reconstituted vial below 30°C. Protect from light. After reconstitution, the solution should be used immediately or within the verified chemical stability parameters.
