Product Overview
ASCOCI PLUS TAB is an advanced hematinic and nutritional supplement engineered to combat iron deficiency and nutritional anemias. Indications
This medication is primarily indicated for:
- Iron Deficiency Anemia: Treats and prevents microcytic anemia due to poor diet, chronic blood loss, or malabsorption.
- Pregnancy and Lactation: Meets the escalated nutritional demands to support fetal growth and prevent neural tube defects.

Dosage & Administration
The standard adult dose is one tablet daily, taken orally with water, preferably on an empty stomach for maximum absorption. If gastrointestinal irritation occurs, it may be taken immediately after a light meal.

Contraindications
Contraindicated in patients with iron overload disorders (such as hemochromatosis or hemosiderosis), active peptic ulceration, ulcerative colitis, or known hypersensitivity to any ingredient.
Warnings & Precautions
Before initiation, vitamin B12 deficiency or pernicious anemia must be clinically ruled out. Avoid simultaneous consumption of tea, coffee, dairy products, or antacids, as they significantly inhibit iron absorption.
Drug Interactions
Iron reduces the absorption of tetracyclines, fluoroquinolones, penicillamine, and levodopa. Antacids, proton pump inhibitors, and calcium supplements decrease iron absorption. Space administration by at least two hours.

Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place, protected from direct sunlight and moisture.
