AXCEL PLUS TAB is a powerful triple-action therapeutic combination developed to manage severe pain, swelling, and inflammatory tissue trauma. By incorporating a proteolytic enzyme alongside standard analgesics, it breaks down localized edema and enhances cellular tissue repair.
Indications
This combination is highly effective for managing severe pain accompanied by edema in:
- Post-Surgical Trauma: Minimizes incision swelling, edema, and postoperative pain.
- Severe Orthopedic Trauma: Manages painful fractures, sports injuries, strains, and deep muscle contusions.
- Dental Inflammations: Alleviates severe pain and facial swelling after impacted tooth extractions or dental abscesses.
- ENT Inflammations: Provides adjunctive relief in painful conditions like sinusitis, tonsillitis, and pharyngitis.
Dosage & Administration
The standard adult dosage is 1 tablet taken twice daily after meals. The tablet must be swallowed whole with a glass of water without breaking or crushing.
Adverse Effects
Side effects are usually mild and resolve upon discontinuing therapy. They include:
- Nausea, vomiting, or stomach discomfort
- Diarrhea or mild abdominal cramps

Contraindications
Contraindicated in patients with active gastrointestinal ulcers, bleeding disorders, severe cardiac or renal dysfunction, pregnancy, and in individuals with known allergies to NSAIDs or serratiopeptidase enzymes.
Warnings & Precautions
Serratiopeptidase possesses mild fibrinolytic activity; use with caution in individuals with coagulation defects or those scheduled for major surgery. Monitor hepatic function profiles during prolonged use.
Drug Interactions
Concomitant use with oral anticoagulants, antiplatelets (e.g., Clopidogrel), or heparin can increase the risk of hemorrhage. May increase blood concentrations of concurrently administered antibiotics.
