Product Overview
BETCIAN G CREAM is a highly effective, double-action dermatological preparation formulated to combat severe inflammatory skin disorders complicated by bacterial infections. By pairing a high-potency corticosteroid with an aminoglycoside antibiotic, it provides relief from stubborn dermatoses.
Indications
This topical preparation is primarily indicated for:
- Resistant Eczema & Dermatitis: Treats severe, thick, or scaling skin lesions showing signs of secondary bacterial contamination.
- Psoriasis Vulgaris: Alleviates plaque psoriasis flare-ups where bacterial infections pose a complicating risk.
- Lichen Planus & Discoid Lupus: Controls localized, deep-set autoimmune skin manifestations.
Dosage & Administration
Apply a small, thin film to the affected skin area once or twice daily. Gently rub in until absorbed. Therapy must be discontinued immediately once control over the lesion is achieved, usually within a few days.
Adverse Effects
Common topical side effects may include:
- Burning or stinging sensations at the application site
- Skin dryness, cracking, or localized irritation
- Striae (stretch marks) or skin thinning upon prolonged exposure
- Telangiectasia (visible small blood vessels)

Contraindications
Contraindicated in patients with perioral dermatitis, rosacea, acne vulgaris, untreated cutaneous fungal or viral infections, and in pediatric patients under 2 years of age.
Warnings & Precautions
Do not apply to large surface areas or under occlusive dressings. Avoid facial application or contact with eyes due to glaucoma risks. Limit use to less than 2 consecutive weeks to prevent adrenal axis suppression.
Drug Interactions
No significant systemic interactions have been established for topical use, but avoid concurrent application of other high-potency topical steroids on the same site.
Storage Instructions
Store below 30°C. Keep the tube tightly capped and protect from freezing temperatures.
