Product Overview
BRADILEX is a comprehensive bronchodilator and mucolytic syrup designed to manage productive cough and bronchial congestion. It effectively clears airways, thins thick bronchial secretions, and provides cooling relief from throat irritation.
Indications
This product is indicated for:
- Productive Cough: Relief of chesty cough associated with excessive mucus.
- Respiratory Conditions: Management of bronchitis, bronchial asthma, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
- Tracheobronchitis: Clears viscous respiratory tract secretions.
Dosage & Administration
Adults: 5 ml to 10 ml three times daily. Children (6 to 12 years): 5 ml three times daily, or as directed by the physician.
Adverse Effects
Common adverse effects include mild fine tremors (especially in the hands), palpitations, tachycardia, nausea, gastrointestinal discomfort, headache, and dizziness.

Contraindications
Contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to any of the active ingredients, or patients with severe cardiovascular disorders or pre-existing tachyarrhythmias.
Warnings & Precautions
Use with caution in patients suffering from hyperthyroidism, diabetes mellitus, ischemic heart disease, or severe hepatic and renal impairment. Avoid concurrent use with other sympathomimetic bronchodilators.
Drug Interactions
Concomitant administration with beta-blockers may antagonize the effect of Levosalbutamol. May increase the risk of hypokalemia when used with diuretics or corticosteroids. Avoid co-administration with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs).
