Product Overview
CICOF T SYP 100 ML is an advanced, comprehensive mucolytic-bronchodilator syrup designed to alleviate productive chest coughs, wheezing, and chest tightness. It thins thick mucus plugs, dilates the bronchial airways, and provides a soothing cooling sensation to the irritated throat.
Indications
This syrup is indicated for:
- Asthmatic Cough: Controls cough triggered by bronchospasms in asthmatic individuals.
- Acute and Chronic Bronchitis: Resolves airway obstruction caused by excessive, thick mucus.
- Emphysema: Assists in clearing trapped secretions from the alveolar passages.
Dosage & Administration
Adults: 5 ml to 10 ml two to three times daily. Children (over 6 years): 2.5 ml to 5 ml three daily, or as directed by a healthcare professional.

Contraindications
Do not administer to individuals with known hypersensitivity to sympathomimetic amines, severe ischemic heart disease, or uncontrolled cardiac failure.
Warnings & Precautions
Exercise care when prescribing to patients with diabetes mellitus, severe hypertension, hyperthyroidism, or a history of peptic ulcers. Monitor serum potassium levels regularly.
Drug Interactions
Concomitant use with non-selective beta-blockers blocks the therapeutic effects of terbutaline. Co-administration with other bronchodilators may increase cardiac side effects.
Storage Instructions
Store below 30°C in a dry place, away from heat and direct sunlight. Keep the container tightly capped.
