Indications
This medication is primarily indicated for:
- Multi-Symptom Cold Relief: Treatment of dry cough accompanied by nasal congestion and sneezing.
- Allergic Rhinitis: Alleviation of upper respiratory symptoms triggered by seasonal allergies or common cold viruses.
- Sinus Congestion: Relieving sinus pressure and post-nasal drip that irritates the upper airway.
Dosage & Administration
The standard adult dosage is 5 ml to 10 ml taken three to four times daily, or as directed by a healthcare professional. Paediatric administration must be restricted to children above the age of 6 under strict clinical supervision, with the dose adjusted precisely to age and weight metrics.

Contraindications
Contraindicated in patients with severe hypertension, advanced coronary artery disease, or those concurrently taking Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitors (MAOIs) or within 14 days of discontinuing them. Do not administer to individuals with a known hypersensitivity to any of the active ingredients, narrow-angle glaucoma, or severe urinary retention issues.
Warnings & Precautions
Exercise extreme caution in individuals diagnosed with diabetes mellitus, hyperthyroidism, ischemic heart disease, elevated intraocular pressure, or prostatic hypertrophy. Patients must avoid operating heavy machinery or driving if they experience drowsiness. Avoid concurrent alcohol consumption during treatment.
Drug Interactions
Co-administration with MAOIs can provoke severe hypertensive crises. May potentiate the sedative effects of central nervous system depressants, barbiturates, hypnotics, and opioid analgesics. Antihypertensive drug efficacy may be altered due to the sympathomimetic action of Phenylephrine.
