Product Overview
CIANFIT OFLO Tablet is a potent dual-action antibiotic combination designed to treat a wide spectrum of bacterial infections. It combines a cephalosporin and a fluoroquinolone to effectively target and eliminate complicated respiratory, urinary, and gastrointestinal infections.
Indications
This medication is primarily indicated for:
- Respiratory Tract Infections: Acute bronchitis, pneumonia, and severe sinusitis.
- Urinary Tract Infections: Complicated and uncomplicated UTIs.
- Gastrointestinal Infections: Typhoid fever (enteric fever) and infectious diarrhea.
- Gynecological Infections: Pelvic inflammatory disease and other soft tissue infections.
Dosage & Administration
The standard adult dose is one tablet twice daily after food, or as directed by a healthcare professional. Swallow the tablet whole with water.

Contraindications
Do not use in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to cephalosporins, fluoroquinolones, or any component of the formulation. Contraindicated in patients with a history of tendon rupture associated with fluoroquinolones.
Warnings & Precautions
Use with caution in patients with renal impairment, central nervous system disorders, or epilepsy. Discontinue immediately if tendon pain, inflammation, or peripheral neuropathy occurs. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight due to phototoxicity risks.
Drug Interactions
Antacids containing magnesium or aluminum, iron supplements, and sucralfate reduce the absorption of Ofloxacin. Probenecid increases the plasma concentration of Cefixime. Concurrent use with oral anticoagulants like warfarin may increase prothrombin time.
