Product Overview
CIANMOL 200 SR is a sustained-release non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) designed for prolonged pain relief. The extended-release profile ensures steady therapeutic drug levels over 24 hours, minimizing dosage frequency and gastric irritation.
Indications
This medication is primarily indicated for:
- Osteoarthritis: Long-term relief of chronic joint pain and structural stiffness.
- Rheumatoid Arthritis: Reduces persistent joint inflammation and swelling.
- Ankylosing Spondylitis: Manages severe spinal pain and improves structural mobility.
Dosage & Administration
The standard adult dosage is one tablet daily, taken whole with a glass of water after food. Do not crush, break, or chew the sustained-release tablet.

Contraindications
Contraindicated in patients with active peptic ulcers, gastrointestinal bleeding, severe heart failure, or severe renal or hepatic impairment. Avoid in patients who develop asthma attacks after taking aspirin.
Warnings & Precautions
Monitor renal and hepatic function during long-term therapy. Use with extreme caution in elderly patients and those with a history of gastrointestinal disorders or cardiovascular disease risk factors.
Drug Interactions
May increase plasma levels of lithium, digoxin, and methotrexate. Concurrent use with diuretics or antihypertensives can reduce their efficacy. Increases the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding when co-administered with oral anticoagulants or corticosteroids.
