Product Overview
CIANMOX 500 CAP is a high-strength, broad-spectrum aminopenicillin capsule designed to treat moderate-to-severe bacterial infections. It offers excellent oral bioavailability and systemic tissue distribution to combat standard susceptible pathogens.
Indications
This medication is primarily indicated for:
- Severe Respiratory Infections: Community-acquired pneumonia and severe bronchitis.
- Genitourinary Tract Infections: Acute cystitis, pyelonephritis, and uncomplicated gonorrhea.
- Skin Infections: Severe dermatological bacterial infections and erisypelas.
- Helicobacter pylori Eradication: Used as part of a triple-drug therapy regimen for peptic ulcers.
Dosage & Administration
The standard adult dose is one 500mg capsule every 8 hours, or one capsule every 12 hours depending on infection severity. Take with or without food and complete the full course.

Contraindications
Contraindicated in patients with a history of severe hypersensitivity reactions to penicillin, ampicillin, cephalosporins, or other beta-lactam antibiotics.
Warnings & Precautions
Adjust dosage carefully in patients with severe renal impairment. Prolonged therapy requires periodic monitoring of hepatic, renal, and hematopoietic functions to avoid secondary overgrowth of non-susceptible organisms.
Drug Interactions
Bacteriostatic antibiotics like tetracyclines or erythromycin may interfere with the bactericidal effects of amoxicillin. Methotrexate clearance may be reduced, increasing toxicity risks.
