Product Overview
CICOF D SYP 100 ML is a comprehensive antitussive and decongestant formulation designed to provide rapid relief from irritating dry coughs and common cold symptoms. This triple-action syrup combines a cough suppressant, a decongestant, and an antihistamine to clear the upper respiratory tract.
Indications
This syrup is indicated for:
- Dry Cough: Suppresses tickling, non-productive cough associated with respiratory tract irritation.
- Nasal Decongestion: Alleviates nasal stuffiness and sinus pressure caused by colds or allergies.
- Allergic Rhinitis: Relieves sneezing, rhinorrhea, and itchy upper respiratory passages.
Dosage & Administration
Adults: 5 ml to 10 ml three to four times daily. Children (6 to 12 years): 2.5 ml to 5 ml three times daily, or as advised by a physician.

- Mild sedation or drowsiness
- Dry mouth or throat
- Dizziness or lightheadedness
- Slight increase in blood pressure

Contraindications
Contraindicated in patients with severe hypertension, severe coronary artery disease, or those currently taking or within 14 days of discontinuing Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitors (MAOIs).
Warnings & Precautions
Use caution in individuals with diabetes mellitus, hyperthyroidism, glaucoma, prostatic hypertrophy, or cardiovascular disease. Avoid driving if drowsiness occurs.
Drug Interactions
Co-administration with MAOIs can precipitate severe hypertensive crises. May potentiate the sedative effects of alcohol, sedatives, and tranquilizers.
Storage Instructions
Store below 30°C in a dry place, protected from direct light. Keep the bottle tightly closed.
