Product Overview
CICOF LS is a specialized, fast-acting pediatric respiratory drops formulation designed to treat productive coughs associated with bronchospasm. The formulation facilitates easier expectoration while relaxing narrowed airways to restore uninhibited breathing patterns.
Indications
This formulation is indicated for:
- Productive Cough: Manages chesty coughs with thick, tenacious sputum.
- Bronchial Asthma: Relieves associated wheezing and bronchial muscle spasms.
- Chronic Bronchitis: Aids clearing airways in chronic inflammatory pulmonary conditions.
- COPD: Provides adjunctive bronchodilatation and mucus thinning.
Dosage & Administration
Pediatric dosage must be calibrated based on age and clinical severity. Typically administered 2 to 3 times daily using a calibrated dropper, or as prescribed by a pediatrician.
Adverse Effects
- Fine skeletal muscle tremors (especially in fingers)
- Palpitations or increased heart rate
- Nausea or gastrointestinal irritation

Contraindications
Contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to bronchodilators or mucolytics, and in individuals presenting with severe cardiac arrhythmias or pre-existing tachyarrhythmias.
Warnings & Precautions
Use with extreme caution in patients with hyperthyroidism, cardiovascular disease, or gastric ulcers. Discontinue if unexpected bronchospasm or severe tremors develop.
Drug Interactions
Beta-blockers (like propranolol) may antagonize the bronchodilatory action of levosalbutamol. Hypokalemia may be potentiated if co-administered with diuretics or xanthine derivatives.

Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place. Keep out of reach of children and protect from direct sunlight.
