DEFCIAN is clinically utilized across multiple medical disciplines, including:

• Severe Autoimmune Disorders: Managing acute manifestations of Rheumatoid Arthritis, Juvenile Chronic Arthritis, and Systemic Lupus Erythematosus.
• Allergic Conditions: Arresting advanced cases of status asthmaticus, severe chronic asthma, and refractory dermatological allergies.
• Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD): Preserving muscle mass and ambulation timelines in patients aged 5 years and older.
• Immuno-suppressive Therapy: Used as an effective maintenance agent post-organ transplantation to mitigate rejection risks.

Adults: Initial therapeutic dose spans from 6 mg to 90 mg daily, tailored precisely to disease severity. Maintenance doses should be titrated down to the lowest clinically effective level.

Pediatric Patients: Dose calculation must be based on clinical condition and body weight, typically ranging from 0.25 mg to 1.5 mg/kg/day, taken once daily in the morning.
