HEM ROSE XT SYRUP is a highly bioavailable hematinic preparation formulated to treat iron deficiency anemia and support healthy fetal development during pregnancy. It offers excellent gastrointestinal tolerance and rapid absorption to restore vital hemoglobin levels.
Indications
This therapeutic hematinic syrup is indicated for:
- Iron Deficiency Anemia: Restores iron stores depleted due to chronic blood loss, poor dietary intake, or malabsorption.
- Pregnancy and Lactation: Meets elevated maternal iron and folic acid requirements to prevent gestational anemia.
- Post-Surgical Convalescence: Accelerates the restoration of red blood cells and hemoglobin following surgical blood loss.
Dosage & Administration
The standard adult dose is 5 ml to 10 ml twice daily, taken preferably one hour before meals for optimal absorption. Alternatively, it can be taken with or after meals to minimize gastric irritation if required.
Adverse Effects
May cause temporary dark stools, mild nausea, epigastric pain, heartburn, or transient constipation.

Contraindications
Contraindicated in patients with iron overload disorders (such as hemochromatosis or hemosiderosis), hemolytic anemia, or known hypersensitivity to any ingredient in the syrup.
Warnings & Precautions
Do not exceed the recommended dose, as excessive iron intake can lead to systemic toxicity. Use with caution in patients with inflammatory bowel disease or peptic ulceration.
Drug Interactions
Iron reduces the gastrointestinal absorption of tetracycline antibiotics, fluoroquinolones, levothyroxine, and bisphosphonates. Administer these medications at least two to three hours apart from the hematinic syrup.

Store below 25°C in a cool, dark place. Protect from direct light and keep out of reach of children.
