Indications
This sustained-release antifungal formulation is indicated for:

- Systemic Mycoses: Aspergillosis, blastomycosis, and histoplasmosis profiles.
Dosage & Administration

Contraindications
Contraindicated in patients with ventricular dysfunction (such as congestive heart failure), hepatic disease, pregnancy, or known hypersensitivity to azole antifungals.
Warnings & Precautions
Periodic liver function tests should be conducted for patients undergoing prolonged continuous courses. Discontinue immediately if clinical signs of hepatitis develop.
Drug Interactions
Contraindicated with co-administration of CYP3A4 substrates like simvastatin, lovastatin, and triazolam due to toxicity risks. Antacids reduce gastric acidity and lower the absorption of itraconazole.
