Product Overview
OGLOBE-0.3 TAB is an advanced oral hypoglycemic agent developed for the management of postprandial hyperglycemia in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. The mouth-dissolving format ensures rapid disintegration and patient convenience without requiring immediate water intake.
Indications
This medication is clinically indicated for:
- Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus: Management of postprandial blood glucose levels as an adjunct to diet and exercise.
- Combination Therapy: Used alongside other anti-diabetic medications when glycemic targets are unmet.
Dosage & Administration
The standard adult dose is 0.3 mg taken orally three times daily, immediately before each major meal. Allow the tablet to dissolve completely on the tongue before swallowing.

Contraindications
Contraindicated in patients with severe ketosis, diabetic coma, severe infections, or major trauma. Do not use in individuals with chronic intestinal diseases, gastrointestinal ulceration, or partial intestinal obstruction.
Warnings & Precautions
When used in combination with sulfonylureas or insulin, Voglibose can increase the risk of hypoglycemia. If hypoglycemia occurs, oral glucose should be administered instead of sucrose, as Voglibose delays sucrose breakdown.
Drug Interactions
Concomitant administration with insulin or oral sulfonylureas enhances the glucose-lowering effect, requiring potential dose adjustments. Intestinal adsorbents like charcoal may reduce the therapeutic effect of Voglibose.
Storage Instructions
Store below 25°C in a dry place. Protect from direct heat and moisture. Keep tablets in their original blister packs until administration.
