OMCIAN D CAP combines an acid-suppressing proton pump inhibitor with a prokinetic agent to offer comprehensive management for acid reflux complicated by nausea, vomiting, or gastric dysmotility. The formulation utilizes specialized pellets for optimized therapeutic release.
Indications
This combination capsule is indicated for:
- Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD): Acid reflux with associated dyspepsia or nausea.
- Non-Ulcer Dyspepsia: Relieves symptoms of epigastric fullness, early satiety, and bloating.
- Refractory Gastric Ulcers: Chronic acid control when accompanied by delayed gastric emptying.
Dosage & Administration
The recommended adult dosage is one capsule daily, taken orally 30 minutes before the morning meal. Swallow the capsule whole without chewing or crushing the contents.

Contraindications
Contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to either active drug, prolactin-releasing pituitary tumors, or conditions where gastric stimulation could be dangerous (e.g., gastrointestinal hemorrhage or mechanical obstruction).
Warnings & Precautions
Not recommended for patients with significant hepatic impairment or cardiac conduction abnormalities (such as prolonged QT interval). Routine monitoring is advised for long-term therapeutic courses.
Drug Interactions
Concomitant administration with strong CYP3A4 inhibitors like ketoconazole or erythromycin may increase plasma levels of domperidone. Omeprazole may alter the absorption of pH-dependent medications.
