Product Overview
P PLUS CREAM contains Permethrin, a highly effective topical antiparasitic agent used for the definitive treatment of scabies infestations. It works rapidly to eliminate scabies mites and their eggs, providing targeted relief from severe skin itching.
Indications
This topical preparation is indicated for:
- Scabies Infestation: Treats infestations caused by the Sarcoptes scabiei mite in adults and pediatric patients two months of age and older.
Dosage & Administration
Thoroughly massage the cream into the skin from the head to the soles of the feet, paying special attention to skin folds, interdigital spaces, and under the nails. Leave the cream on for 8 to 14 hours before washing it off completely. Typically, a single application is curative.
Adverse Effects
Common localized side effects include temporary burning, stinging, redness, mild swelling, or worsening of pruritus (itching) immediately following application.

Contraindications
Contraindicated in individuals with a known hypersensitivity to permethrin, synthetic pyrethroids, or pyrethrins.
Warnings & Precautions
For external dermatological use only; avoid contact with the eyes and mucous membranes. Pruritus may persist for a few weeks after successful treatment due to an allergic reaction to the dead mites, which does not necessarily indicate treatment failure.
Drug Interactions
There are no well-documented interactions with systemic medications due to very low systemic absorption. Avoid concurrent use of other topical skin applications on the treated area during the treatment window.
Storage Instructions
Store below 25°C. Do not freeze. Keep the tube tightly closed after use.
