Product Overview

PANCI O Enteric Coated Tablet is a professional-grade gastrointestinal combination formulated to manage severe acid reflux while simultaneously controlling associated nausea. It offers rapid relief from gastric discomfort and improves patient compliance in complex hyperacidity cases.

Indications

  • Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD): For the management of severe acid reflux associated with nausea or vomiting.
  • Gastric and Duodenal Ulcers: To promote healing of mucosal ulcers aggravated by hyperacidity.
  • Hyperacidity with Emesis: Fast-acting symptomatic relief in chronic gastritis and acid-induced dyspepsia accompanied by nausea.

Dosage & Administration

The standard adult dosage is one tablet daily, taken orally 30 to 60 minutes before the morning meal. Tablets must be swallowed whole with water and should not be crushed, chewed, or broken due to the enteric coating.

Adverse Effects

Common adverse effects include headache, mild diarrhea, dizziness, constipation, fatigue, and dry mouth. These symptoms are generally transient and resolve upon discontinuation.

Contraindications

Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to pantoprazole, substituted benzimidazoles, ondansetron, or any components of the formulation. Co-administration with rilpivirine or apomorphine is strictly prohibited.

Warnings & Precautions

Long-term therapy may mask symptoms of gastric malignancy and increase the risk of osteoporosis-related fractures or hypomagnesemia. Use with caution in patients with severe hepatic impairment or hereditary cardiac conduction abnormalities.

Drug Interactions

Pantoprazole can decrease the absorption of pH-dependent medications such as ketoconazole, itraconazole, and atazanavir. Ondansetron may interact with apomorphine leading to severe hypotension, and drugs that prolong the QT interval should be monitored closely.
