Product Overview
RABTAB DSR is a high-performance capsule utilizing multi-particulate pellet technology to offer round-the-clock protection against acid reflux and dyspepsia. The dual-phase sustained release ensures prompt initial action followed by a steady delivery profile.
Indications
- Chronic Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD): For patients requiring continuous, day-and-night suppression of acid reflux.
- Severe Reflux Esophagitis: Promotes prolonged mucosal rest to allow damaged esophageal tissue to heal.
- Diabetic Gastroparesis: Long-term management of chronic nausea and gastric bloating associated with delayed stomach emptying.
Dosage & Administration
One capsule daily, taken whole on an empty stomach in the morning before breakfast. The capsule must not be opened, split, or chewed, as it will disrupt the sustained-release pellet architecture.
Adverse Effects
Potential reactions include dry mouth, transient headache, flatulence, mild diarrhea, dizziness, and rare skin rashes.

Contraindications
Contraindicated in patients with documented cardiac conduction deficits (QT prolongation), severe hepatic impairment, gastrointestinal bleeding, perforation, or hypersensitivity to the active molecules.
Warnings & Precautions
Due to the sustained release of domperidone, use with caution in elderly patients. Chronic treatment exceeding three months warrants periodic monitoring of electrolyte balances.
Drug Interactions
Avoid concurrent administration with class IA or class III antiarrhythmics, macrolide antibiotics, and azole antifungals due to risk of cardiac complications. Rabeprazole will decrease the bio-efficacy of atazanavir.
Storage Instructions
Store below 25°C in a dry place. Keep the capsules inside their original blister packaging until use to protect from humidity.
