Product Overview
RABTAB LSR is a premium combination of a proton pump inhibitor and a prokinetic agent designed to manage severe gastroesophageal reflux disease and associated motility disorders. It provides dual relief by suppressing excessive gastric acid secretion and accelerating gastric emptying for comprehensive upper gastrointestinal comfort.
Indications
This combination is indicated for:
- Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD) unresponsive to monotherapy
- Hyperacidity associated with delayed gastric emptying
- Functional dyspepsia and chronic gastritis
- Diabetic gastroparesis
Dosage & Administration
The standard adult dosage is one capsule daily, preferably taken in the morning 30 minutes before breakfast, or as directed by a healthcare professional. The capsule must be swallowed whole and not chewed or crushed.
Adverse Effects
Common side effects include headache, dizziness, nausea, diarrhea, abdominal pain, flatulence, and drowsiness. Prolonged use of prokinetics may cause mild endocrine imbalances in rare cases.

Contraindications
Do not use in patients with known hypersensitivity to rabeprazole, substituted benzimidazoles, levosulpiride, or any component of the formulation. Contraindicated in patients with gastrointestinal hemorrhage, mechanical obstruction, or perforation.
Warnings & Precautions
Use with caution in elderly patients and those with hepatic impairment. Long-term treatment with proton pump inhibitors may increase the risk of osteoporosis-related fractures and hypomagnesemia. Discontinue if neurological symptoms occur due to the prokinetic component.
Drug Interactions
Rabeprazole may reduce the absorption of ketoconazole, itraconazole, and iron salts due to pH changes. Levosulpiride effects may be antagonized by anticholinergic agents and enhanced by dopaminergic drugs. Avoid concurrent use with central nervous system depressants.
