Product Overview
SUCRA O SUSPENSION is an advanced gastrointestinal formulation combining a cytoprotectant and a potent local anesthetic. It provides fast, dual-action relief from acute hyperacidity and painful ulcers by creating a mechanical barrier over compromised mucosa while instantly numbing painful nerve endings.
Indications
This suspension is highly indicated for:
- Acute gastric and duodenal ulcers
- Stress ulcers and erosive gastritis
- Reflux esophagitis with severe pain symptoms
- Heartburn and hyperacidity-associated pain
Dosage & Administration
The standard adult dose is 5 ml to 10 ml taken two to four times daily, preferably one hour before meals and at bedtime, or as directed by the physician. Do not dilute or drink water immediately after taking to maintain the integrity of the mucosal coating.
Adverse Effects
The most common side effect is constipation due to the aluminum content in sucralfate. Other infrequent side effects include dry mouth, nausea, indigestion, or mild dizziness.

Contraindications
Contraindicated in individuals who exhibit hypersensitivity to sucralfate, oxetacaine, or any components of the sorbitol base. Not suitable for severely debilitated patients.
Warnings & Precautions
Use with caution in patients with chronic renal failure or those undergoing dialysis, as aluminum accumulation may occur. Avoid prolonged continuous usage without clinical re-evaluation.
Drug Interactions
Sucralfate can decrease the absorption of tetracyclines, ciprofloxacin, norfloxacin, digoxin, and phenytoin. Administer these medications at least two hours before or after taking SUCRA O.

Store below 30°C in a dry place. Protect from direct sunlight. Do not freeze.
