Product Overview
TAGO SYP is a highly effective, clinically balanced expectorant and bronchodilator syrup designed to ease productive coughs and respiratory congestion. It clears the airways, thins thick mucus, and relieves wheezing associated with bronchospasm.
Indications
- Relief of productive cough associated with acute and chronic bronchitis.
- Management of bronchospasms in conditions like bronchial asthma and COPD.
- Clearance of upper and lower respiratory tract congestion associated with common colds and infections.
Dosage & Administration
Adults: 10 ml taken 2 to 3 times daily. Children (6 to 12 years): 5 ml taken 2 to 3 times daily, or as advised by a physician. Shake the bottle thoroughly before administration.
Adverse Effects
- Fine skeletal muscle tremors (especially in the hands)
- Palpitations or increased heart rate
- Nausea, vomiting, or gastric discomfort
- Dizziness or nervousness

Contraindications
Contraindicated in patients with severe tachyarrhythmias, hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy, gastric ulceration, or known hypersensitivity to sympathomimetic amines or mucolytics.
Warnings & Precautions
Use with caution in patients with hyperthyroidism, cardiovascular disease, hypertension, or diabetes mellitus. Discontinue use if chest pain or severe palpitations occur during the course of treatment.
Drug Interactions
Concomitant use with non-selective beta-blockers (like propranolol) completely antagonizes the bronchodilating effect of terbutaline. May increase risk of hypokalemia when used alongside diuretics or corticosteroids.

Store in a cool place below 30°C. Protect from light. Keep the container tightly sealed after each use.
