Product Overview
TAGO SYP is an advanced bronchodilator and mucokinetic cough syrup formulated to provide comprehensive relief from productive coughs associated with respiratory tract disorders. It effectively thins thick mucus, clears bronchial passages, and relaxes hyperactive airway muscles.
Indications
This cough formulation is indicated for:
- Productive cough associated with bronchitis
- Bronchial asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
- Tracheobronchitis and emphysema
- Respiratory congestion accompanied by thick mucus plugs
Dosage & Administration
Adults: 10 ml to 20 ml three times daily. Children (above 6 years): 5 ml to 10 ml three times daily, or as directed by a healthcare professional.
Adverse Effects
Possible side effects include fine tremors (especially in hands), palpitations, tachycardia, mild gastrointestinal upset, muscle cramps, and headache.

Contraindications
Contraindicated in patients with pre-existing hypersensitivity to sympathomimetic amines or any components of this cough syrup. Avoid in patients with severe cardiac disease or tachyarrhythmias.
Warnings & Precautions
Use with extreme caution in patients with hyperthyroidism, diabetes mellitus, severe hypertension, or active peptic ulcers. Regular monitoring is advised if symptoms persist beyond seven days.
Drug Interactions
Concurrent use with beta-blockers (like propranolol) may antagonize the therapeutic action of terbutaline. Concomitant administration with corticosteroids or diuretics may increase the risk of hypokalemia.

Store below 30°C in a dry place. Keep out of reach of children and protect from direct sunlight.
